The Raspberry Pi is a series of credit card-sized single-board computers developed in the UK by the Raspberry Pi Foundation.
Some capabilities:
- Parental Control:Used as DHCP and DNS server in the network, it can be configured to restrict Internet access according MAC addresses.
- Extended NASIn combination with a USB hard drive and the installation of a Web server and OwnCloud, you are not only able to access your files from anywhere, but you are in possession of a personal Clowd with similar features as Dropbox. You can give others access to a file or directory.
- Secure VPN Gateway: By installing openVPN, it allows secure VPN access and can even can join multiple private networks via the Internet. Using SSL / TLS with individual keys (2048 bytes), security is much higher as if you use the FritzBox VPN.
