ownCloud® is free software, providing a platform for storage services and file sharing and various online applications. It is presented as an alternative to Dropbox® which is based on a public cloud. IN ownCloud®, data storage is done in the company's infrastructure and access are subject to the latter security policy.

Beside the https-connection via WEB-browser, following client applications are available:
